Wickham Park Hartford Wedding >
Leann and Larry had beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT recently. I spent some time with Leann at Shampoo One in East Hartford while she had her hair and makeup done, after which we traveled to the hotel where she got ready for the ceremony. Larry and the guys were just down the hall and got ready pretty quickly, and we all met up later on at the park for the ceremony and reception.
Here are some photos from the day…
Leann began the day at the salon getting her hair and makeup done.
Back at the hotel the guys ran out the door to meet the limo to get to the park.
Leanne and I drove a short distance to get to the hotel so she could get dressed for the wedding.
We found ourselves locked out when we arrived, so Leann called a bridesmaid to let us in.
It was pretty crowded in the hotel room so I took Leanne’s gown outside for a different kind of dress photo.
Larry and his groomsmen headed back into the cabin, and out of the sun, after checking out the nearby ceremony site.
Leann and her dad shared some time alone together before he walked her down the aisle.
Walking out of the cabin into the sunshine to get married.
Larry wiped away a few tears after seeing Leann for the first time that day.
Some of the littler guests preferred playing to watching the ceremony.
The newly married couple immediately after the ceremony.
Leanne requested a “Bridesmaids” inspired portrait.

While Larry thanked guests for sharing the day with them, Leann read through her own notes on her phone.
As the sun set, a couple of bridesmaids decided to tumble down the hill.
Kids will be kids.
A great moment between Larry and Leann on the dance floor.
The sun was almost gone, making for great silhouettes outside.
Leann went after the frosting she put on Larry’s nose during the cake cutting.
There were quite a few ladies lined up to catch the bouquet.

It took some practice but she got the spoon to stick eventually.

These are amazing! Thank you so much, Seth and Lesley!!!
