Imagine the perfect wedding nestled in the heart of the scenic Berkshires. The Lake House Guest Cottages of the Berkshires was the ideal setting for Frankie and Bobby's big day. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet radiated an excitement that was palpable. This charming venue offered the couple a unique experience - the opportunity to prepare for their special moment in separate cottages, preserving the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony.

 

As I arrived at the venue, the sun was shining brightly, promising a beautiful day ahead. The anticipation rose as Frankie and Bobby each got ready in their private spaces, a sense of intimacy permeating the air. The ceremony was held in front of a splendid arch, ingeniously converted into a bookcase reflecting the couple's shared love for books. As Frankie walked down the aisle, their eyes met and it seemed as if time stood still. The joy, the love, the unspoken promises shared in that glance were a photographer's dream, as was the laughter both Frankie and Bobby shared throughout the ceremony.

 

Later into the evening, as the sun began to set, we moved onto a dock stretching out into the serene lake. There I captured a series of sunset portraits. The glow of the setting sun, the calm water, and the love between Frankie and Bobby made for stunning photographs. These are the moments that remind me why I became a wedding photographer. It's not just about capturing images, it's about capturing emotions and telling a story.

 

The reception was a blur of colors and non-stop dancing. Colored lights illuminated the venue, adding to the festive atmosphere. Everyone was having a great time, their happiness and energy making my job easier. The highlight of the evening came when Frankie and Bobby shared a final dance alone under the beautiful small lights affixed to the ceiling, creating a magical, romantic mood. It was a quiet, intimate moment that perfectly encapsulated their love.
