Starting Gate at GreatHorse Wedding >
Katie and Eric were married on a sunny summer day at the Starting Gate at GreatHorse.
Their day began with Katie and her bridesmaids getting ready in the Starting Gate’s bridal suite. There was a lot of activity with hair and makeup and flowergirls dancing about. The guys arrived a little before the ceremony and I put Eric into position for his first look with Katie. From there we made a selection of family portraits and it was time for the ceremony.
After the ceremony while the cocktail hour was going on we drove golf carts to a bridge and then a waterfall on the GreatHorse property for some additional portraits of just Katie and Eric.
When we got back it was time for their introductions, which were followed by their first dance, parent dances and dinner. The cake was cut and toasts were made at sunset. Before the sun disappeared below the horizon we got in a couple more portraits as well as a series of Katie and Eric with their friends. Thanks to a cigar bar provided by the venue we were able to make a final portrait of some of those in the wedding party with the cigars at the end of the night.
