Log Cabin Sunset Wedding > 
Alicia + Phil were married at the Log Cabin in Holyoke with their ceremony just before sunset. Their beautiful samoyed dogs Kodiak, Danby, and Cinder Grey were their ringbearer and flowergirls.
After being a couple for eight years, Phil proposed to Alicia having one of their dogs carry the box with her engagement ring. His plan was to give it to her during a walk with the dog on a dock by a lake, but the dog dropped it in the water before he had the chance. Since it was still in the box they were able to retrieve it and all was well.
On their wedding day Alicia got ready at the nearby D Hotel while Phil and his groomsmen finished getting dressed at the Log Cabin. Alicia also put her dress on there shortly before their late afternoon ceremony. We then moved into the family portraits with the sun creating nice colors behind them.
We were fortunate that the sun stayed above the horizon as long as it did, and there were dramatic clouds for the colors to play off of, to make a couple of really nice sunset portraits of just the two of them.
