Eric Carle Museum Wedding >
Zara + Will were married in an outdoor ceremony at the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, followed by a reception at the nearby Eric Carle Museum.
They began their day at a local hotel where they were both getting ready for the day ahead. Zara and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done in one room while Will and his groomsmen figured out their tie and shoe options in the other.
We coordinated their first look among the apple trees outside the Yiddish Book Center, and then tended to their family and wedding party portraits prior to the ceremony. We had a great location and were able to take some time for creative portraits of them, as well.
Their ceremony incorporated many Jewish traditions including seven blessings under the chuppah, and Will stomping on the glass at the end of the service. At the ceremony’s conclusion we went around the corner to the Eric Carle Museum for their reception.
After their introductions, Zara + Will went right into their first dance, and shortly after they each had their parent dances. Several family members and friends toasted them before dinner was served, after which seemingly everyone danced the rest of the night away.
