Tower Ridge Country Club Wedding >
Amanda + Michael were high school sweethearts who were together for ten years when, one Christmas, he asked her to marry him. Their wedding day came soon after and was filled with originality, love, and great moments.
The day began with Amanda and her bridesmaids getting ready on site at the Tower Ridge Country Club in Simsbury, CT. Michael and his groomsmen arrived shortly before the ceremony and took their positions on the outdoor stage. Their dog Putin, a french bulldog, acted as ringbearer and also had a GoPro attached to his collar so they would have a unique perspective of the day’s events.
The ceremony concluded with a butterfly release by both Amanda + Michael and their guests, who had envelopes to open which contained butterflies of their own.
After family formals we went inside the country club for their first dance and toasts. After the cake cutting we took Amanda + Michael for a few portraits on the grounds, and then off site down the road to the Pinchot Sycamore, the oldest tree in Connecticut. We posed them in front of the epic tree and they then agreed to hike up their dress and pants and wade into the adjacent stream for a few different kind of portraits.
We made our way back to the venue where nearly everyone danced through the very end of the night.
