UMass Amherst Wedding >
Catherine + Tim’s wedding in a not-too-well-know-spot on the UMass Amherst campus was embellished by beautiful scenery, loving family and friends, and weather that was almost too perfect.
Their day began at home where they both got ready, after which we walked through a sunny field with tall grasses, stopping for the occasional portrait. The path we took connected to another at the back of the venue where Catherine + Tim joined their waiting guests and their ceremony commenced.
We then spent a little time taking family portraits and segued into the tent where Catherine + Tim had their first dance, after which both sets of parents toasted them.
Then, instead of a cake to cut they had a croquembouche. Catherine wielded a long sword while Tim stood a respectful distance behind, and lopped off the top of the tower of cream filled pastries.
Soon after the sun began to set so we took a short walk to a large tree on the edge of the main field that had a swing hanging from one of it’s branches for one final portrait before the dancing really got under way.
