This weekend the local newspaper, the Springfield Republican, printed a little profile on me on the front page of the Careers section. The week before a photographer had come to my studio to take my picture, though I didn’t know when the article was scheduled to appear.
I woke up on Sunday to emails and Facebook messages from friends and family who saw it before I did to tell me about it. Naturally I was out photographing a wedding that day, so I saw it in print later when I got home.
