Starting Gate at GreatHorse Wedding >
Heather + Dan had a beautiful summer wedding at the Starting Gate at GreatHorse in Hampden. They met on match.com, and two years later Dan proposed during a trip they went on in the Bahamas.
Like many couples getting married this year they postponed their original wedding plans because of Covid. Life continues to go on as evidenced by their announcement of Heather’s pregnancy via t-shirts they wore during their introduction into the reception. Photos of that below, of course.
Both got ready for the day ahead on the GreatHorse grounds, with Heather in the bridal suite and Dan in the New Lodge. Heather had a first look with her father in the bridal suite just before heading out to the gazebo for her first look with Dan. We then took care of their family portraits and went off to the waterfall for a few portraits of just the two of them before heading back to the Starting Gate for their ceremony.
After their first dance they invited guests to join them, so the dancefloor was packed from the start. Toasts were made and dinner was served, and we were blessed with a stunning sunset which we took advantage of with some portraits. We went back inside for their cake cutting and parent dances, which was followed by a lot of lively dancing to a really good band.
