Boylston Rooms Wedding >
Kat + Adam were married at the Boylston Rooms in Easthampton on a chilly wintry day. They met freshman year in college where they lived across the hall from each other, and were together for four years before becoming engaged.
We began their wedding day by traveling to the lake house where Kat and her bridesmaids got ready for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Adam and his groomsmen got ready in the Boylston Rooms’ bridal suite while waiting for the rest of us to arrive. Once the limo with Kat and her bridesmaids arrived in Easthampton we set up their first look which segued right into family portraits. Once the family had gone to take their seats for the ceremony, Kat and her sorority sisters took part in a long standing tradition of affixing sorority pins to her bouquet.
After coordinating in the hallway outside the Boylston Rooms’ ceremony room, Adam and his groomsmen processed down the aisle, followed by Kat’s bridesmaids and finally by Kat and her father. A family friend officiated, and they stood in front of a frame of flowers which matched those that were installed hanging above the aisle they processed and recessed down.
During cocktail hour we took the opportunity to use the light from the quickly setting sun in a few portraits before the lowering temperatures and fading light suggested we head back inside.
Kat + Adam were then introduced into their reception and had their first dance to The Beatles’ “When I’m Sixty Four”, which was performed live by an amazing band that played throughout the night. The Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Kat’s father all gave toasts which were followed by a buffet dinner.
We later took them back outside for a couple of nighttime portraits utilizing the Boylston Rooms’ architecture and decor. They then joined the rest of the party where they danced and enjoyed the company of their friends.
